Hydrofarm Radiant Light System

A completely pre-wired and assembled ballast assembly kit, ready to plug into any standard household 110 or 220 volts grounded outlet.

Every electrical component exceeds UL/CSA requirements, and the finished unit is UL/CSA approved when fitted with safety lens.

Five-year guarantee on ballast/socket assembly. Multi-volt can be used with either 110 or 220 v electrical lines.

Metal halide system includes super Agrosun spectrum enhanced metal halide horizontal bulb.

	Hydrofarm Sunburst Grow Lights(New Design) Sunburst offers the advantage of high intensity light for smaller growing areas. Brings out the best in orchids and other light-demanding plants. Ballast is enclosed within reflector design. The low-profile self-contained units are good for shorter growing areas such as low-ceiling basements, shelves or under benches. They’re also the perfect addition to the Hydrofarm Garden Cart (see below). The Sunburst series features a four-sided, wide-angle, horizontal-design reflector with aluminum insert for even greater light intensity. Completely pre-wired, ready to plug into any ordinary household 110 volt outlet. CSA approved (when fitted with tempered glass safety lens sold separately). 5-year manufacturer’s warranty on ballast.

HID Bulbs

We offer only the best replacement bulbs in a wide assortment including High Pressure Sodium, Metal Halide and Conversions bulbs.

H.I.D. bulbs are not interchangeable. Halide bulbs cannot be used in Sodium fixtures, and vice-versa (except for Conversion bulbs).

Do not use a bulb with a wattage rating different from the wattage of the ballast system.

Fluorescents

Fluorescent lights are recommended only for small salad gardens or for starting seeds and cuttings.

• Floralight fixtures: Canadian-made Floralight fluorescent light stands are renowned for their durability and practicality. 	Reflectors A reflector makes a big difference in lighting efficiency by directing all the light down towards your plants.
	Optimum  Solarix: Our classic round vertical cone-shaped reflector can be used with metal halide or HPS systems. Reflector shape is ideal for greater growing area coverage. Complete with screws and bracket. 42" diameter, 1000 watt. Choose from two finishes: electro-plated white or polished aluminum.
			Reflex Reflectors: Horizontal design is ideal for focusing light down on a selected growing area. Measures 18" X 21". Highly recommended for HPS systems. Complete with brackets and screws. Good for all horizontal bulbs. Choose from two finishes: electro-plated white or polished aluminum.
	Optimum Parabolix vertical reflector: Strong, full size, parabolic reflector, 48", white.
		Pro Ultralite: Outperforms all others in its class by as much as 30%. High performance, light weight and an amazingly low price.

Light Movers

Light movers allow you to cover a greater area, and ensure that all plants receive the same light so you'll have uniform growth. There are two types of light movers on the market; linear tracks best for long and narrow grow rooms, and circular movers that are best for square areas. All tracks and movers can be used with vertical or horizontal reflectors, and 1000 watt or 400 watt light systems.

Hydrofarm Light Track: A popular aluminum linear track that works to hang either horizontal or vertical reflectors. Excellent quality, inexpensive.

Light Rail: Smooth running lightweight 6'  (1.8 m) aluminum track with no sprockets or chains. Options include: add-a-lamp extender, smart box addition and intergrated smart box.

Pro Trac: A precision engineered light track made of heavier aluminum and quality components. Considered one of the best built light tracks on the market. Can move 1, 2 or 3 lights.

Timers

Timers are used to automatically turn on and off your lighting systems. Indoor plants require 12 to 18 hours of light a day; they also require a period of complete darkness.  High intensity lighting requires a grounded timer for safety.
